Assistance League® of Greater San Diego is an all-volunteer non-profit organization with more than 200 members who last year contributed more than 20,000 hours of their time to support the needs of our community. Our status as a reputable community partner is documented by our accreditation with the Better Business Bureau, GuideStar, National Assistance League, the Internal Revenue Service and Sonnenberg & Company, Certified Public Accounts.
Assistance League of Great San Diego has been providing community service for over 50 years! We employ no full-time or part-time staff. Most of our members are retired women who volunteer the skills acquired from a lifetime of paid and unpaid work and the time that retirement provides to address critical needs in the Greater San Diego community. Women in Business Aiding the Community (WIBAC) is an auxiliary whose members meet in the evenings and raise funds for Operation School Bell. The benefits of membership are many:
